The 429 DE is a 50 AE cartridge necked down to accept a 44 mag projectile (.429) for use in the famed Desert Eagle® pistols converted to this caliber. The 429 DE is designed to yield higher velocities and more energy than the 44 Magnum, and flatter shooting than the 50 AE, the 429 DE is a great option for those wanting something a little bit different out of their Magnum Research pistol.
Please note that this is a similar cartridge to the 440 Corbon, but is not interchangeable. *Do Not Use 44 Magnum ammo in pistols chambered for the 429 DE!!
